Family Moto

I am in the market for a family moto.

"Happy I'm a Hansen" is a important family moto and will be properly show cased in the house.

But I am looking for something that will inspire my children to be better, for me to be calm and loving and for my husband not to be embarrassed to have hanging in the kitchen.

Any thoughts?

FYI I was never really feeling the "keep calm and carry on" wave that exploded throughout the blogsphere.

Even when a Weasly sports it.
Though it helps.

puttin up the tree

Ben's parents came to play this week and we had so much fun. Day two consisted of putting together my HUGE (and rather fabulous) Christmas tree, (more pictures later) It is so nice to have a full size tree again! Good bye FSH... Hello 9ft ceilings!

I think this will be a new family tradition, only next year I will wear make up... and a bra.

Camping at the Beach with the Hansens

We had so much fun beach camping in San Diego, we played with so many siblings and cousins, made cobbler and went boogie boarding. I caught several waves myself. Jocelyn of course thrived in the ocean. She loved it.

Utah Colorado

I can't tell you how many differnt pictures I have of
Rob (Ben's dad) doing this

Needless to Say we still had an amazing time. We saw loads of family and friends while in Utah and Colorado… everyone except Whitney who never seems to be at her restaurant when I am. I ate there twice it was quite delicious both times. It was really exciting because it seems like all of our loved ones are upgrading in the housing department; Joe and Heather, Nemiah and Lance, David and Marrianne, Curtis and Sarah, and Jed and Annie. Ben and I had so much fun checking out everyone’s cribs and seeing the upgrades they are making. It made owning our own house more real for us, and we are so looking forward to when we can by a house and change it drastically.
