Patience is a hard concept for a two-year-old to grasp, especially when there are cinnamon rolls involved.
If you are wondering; they were delicious. FYI Pioneer Woman I figured out your secret. Obscene amounts of butter!

LOL @ the butter part! that is SOOOO very true! it has to be saturated, or else they are too dry! glad they turned out for you! you have the same stove and possible countertops as we do! LOL
