quack quack *updated*

* yes that is her easter basket from earlier this year. I believe in recycling.

Halloween was quite lovely this weekend. Mostly because I had already freaked out the weekend before for the ward party, matching costumes and goodies galore. So when actual Halloween rolled around we made it as smooth and as uncomplicated as possible. Only Jocelyn dressed up in a duck costume we got for free from a friend the week before. We walked around our little block with Brooke in the sling. Jocelyn very timidly would say, "treat" and "tank you" after trying to walk into most of the houses. After about 20 minutes we went home and waited for trick or treaters to knock on our door while we watched "Monsters VS. Aliens". My favorite part was watching her pass out the candy to the neighborhood kids, her face lit up when the door bell would ring and she would gallop to the door. A huge smile on her face would turn into a look of concentration as she put two pieces in each sack. All in all it was a good night.

*If you want to see our amazing costumes last year check this out. My favorite costume this year is this can be found here.

I think it's adorable that kids her age enjoy giving away candy even more than receiving it. When someone was giving Joseph some, a piece fell on the floor and he picked it up and put it back in their bowl. They were so surprised they gave him another piece. Kids are so sweet sometimes!
